FIRST BANK OF ROCK IS THE FIRST CONTENT DRIVEN CONSUMER INTELLIGENCE NETWORK FOR ARTISTS AND THEIR PARTNERS, INCLUDING COMMERCIAL BRANDS, MERCHANDISE COMPANIES, BOOKING AGENTS, PROMOTERS, VENUES, MANAGERS AND RECORD LABELS.
BY UTILIZING AN INNOVATIVE AND UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY NETWORK, WE SOLVE THE THREE BIGGEST INEFFICIENCIES WITH THE CURRENT BUSINESS MODEL – CASH SHORTFALL ENABLING EMERGING ARTISTS TO TOUR WORLDWIDE, BESPOKE ARTIST-OWNED FAN ORIENTED DIGITAL CONTENT AND LACK OF DETAILED UNDERSTANDING OF WHO FANS ARE AND WHERE THEY ARE. FIRST BANK OF ROCK APPLIES A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF CREATIVITY AND TECHNOLOGY WHERE THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN APPLIED BEFORE TO ACCELERATE AND INCREASE REVENUE FOR ARTISTS AND THEIR PARTNERS.
Historically, record labels were to artists what venture capitalists were to technology start-ups. The common strategy is funding. Record labels sign up artists and acquire the rights to the songs, thus allowing the labels to exploit the artist’s Intellectual Property (IP) in exchange for royalties and advance payments.
The music and entertainment industry is rapidly changing. The most obvious change is that whilst digital download sales (including music streaming) have been burgeoning, physical music sales have been steadily dropping over recent years. This decline in physical sales has triggered a major shift in the industry, meaning that record label investment into new artists has decreased dramatically. The artists are therefore looking for alternative sources of funding, income and distribution through the internet and mobile devices, both of which are undoubtedly the communication channels of choice for the majority of music fans.
One of First Bank of Rock’s main priorities is to address the immediate need to invest in the growth of a new artist by offering financial tour support, meaning they are able to promote their music to their fans and stay in control of their own IP.
We are proud to announce that our first business partner is James Sandom of Red Light Management, who handles a stable of premiere league acts including The Vaccines, Franz Ferdinand and Zulu Winter, the first band to sign up with First Bank of Rock. Working closely with both managers and artists simultaneously will enable First Bank of Rock to create the first content driven customer intelligence network for artists and fans.
By financing the artist, First Bank of Rock allows them to concentrate on what they are good at – making music.
We apply the efficiencies of technology where they have never been applied before to accelerate and increase revenue for artists and their partners, including merchandise companies, booking agents, promoters, venues, managers, record labels. We provide to artists and their partners the most valuable insights, from audience engagement to content distribution performance metrics, we are able to measure, every click, every view, every piece of engagement, across all medias and platforms. By collating more and more detailed fan-base intelligence, First Bank of Rock will gain vital information in terms of who fans are and where they are, enabling new revenue streams to be explored.
Our unique technology network consists of an innovative mobile fan platform. For fans, this essentially means that they get a unique and exciting experience, and in return, First Bank of Rock receives detailed social graphing (the global mapping of everybody and how they are related) and big data analysis (an almost instant way of capturing, managing and processing previously unmanageable quantities of information). This enables the artist to build a close relationship with its core fan-base. As a result, the artist will increase their potential revenue (whether that is through merchandise, concerts, record or download sales) and get a more precise idea of who and where their fans are.
Being the first content driven and consumer intelligence network for artists, first bank of rock allows both artists and managers to maximize their potential revenue streams by addressing fans in the most engaging way.
